The Dream Begins
A dream is like a house: if you want it to be strong and sturdy, it needs solid foundations. For us, it all began when the millstone in a little mill began turning and grinding for the first time, signalling the start of oil and flour production. That’s where the dream began to come true. Over time, we have embraced all the classic elements of Umbrian agriculture, like cereals, olives and grapes, to create products famous for their quality while always fully respecting the environment around us. When our grandfather moved to Giano dell’Umbria, he began writing a new chapter, laying the foundations for an enduring agri-food adventure.
Our passion has been handed down through the generations: today, the mantle has been taken up by Pompeo and Roberto, inspired by the work of their respective parents Lanfranco and Domenico. Other seats at the table are occupied by younger family members: Pompeo’s children Giampaolo, Marco and Cecilia.
Our family brings together lots of different personalities with a single defining characteristic: a shared skill in putting the right tastes together.
A vast vision
We’ve never stopped exploring in our efforts to discover all the bounty the land has to offer. That’s exactly why our family is larger than ever today, having expanded to encompass many farming, agro-industrial and service enterprises that share in our own dream.
From Umbria
Working together, we have covered a wider and wider area: from Umbria we made our way all over Italy, and now we’ve even travelled throughout the world, while never losing our unique touch. The fruits of our labour have seen us achieve a total turnover of over €120 million. In recent years, we’ve made even more dreams come true: building a new malt house and brewery, renovating the mill, putting in a new wine cellar and planting new vines.
